What you need to do before you bring in your device for service
Back up your data
Please be sure to back up the data on your Device — either to a computer, external storage or using iCloud. We offer backup services starting from $144 if you would like us to backup the device for you before working on it.
Turn off Find my iPhone/iPad/Mac
To service device, Find My iPhone/iPad/Mac will need to be temporarily turned off. In order to turn off Find My iPhone/iPad/Mac, you must know your Apple ID and Password.*
* If you are unable to turn off Find My iPhone/iPad.Mac, Apple cannot provide support services. This policy is in force to prevent unauthorized persons from servicing your device without your knowledge. If you don’t remember your Apple ID and Password, please go to iForgot.
Update your software
Many issues can be resolved by updating the software on your device so make sure you are running the latest version of the operating system that your device can run.
